The scores that are entered in ScoreExpress do not appear in ScoreDisplay.
ScoreDisplay and ScoreExpress are both started, but the scores that are entered in ScoreExpress are not displayed in ScoreDisplay. There several possible reasons why this does not work:
- A score update message is only sent, when the score is 'closed'. A score is closed when it dissapears from the screen, i.e. when you select a new event or participant number or when you leave de score editor.
- ScoreDisplay is not properly connected with the server. When you start ScoreDisplay, it shows a screen where you have to provide the location of the server and the participants file. After proceeding, the program tries to connect to the server. If this fails, you should see an error message. The program will continue to work, but it will not receive any score updates.
- ScoreExpress is not properly connected to the server. After configuring ScoreExpress to work with a server, it is best to restart the program. It is only after starting the program that it connects properly with the server.
- ScoreDisplay displays only scores in the categories that are selected for display. Check that the correct categories are selected and update the settings if necessary.
